It
is easy for
a Catholic
to have a
Catholic Church
wedding in
Malta. We
can help plan
and have the
wedding in
any church
of your choice
or we can
suggest
Couples
intending
to have a
wedding outside
their country
have to go
through the
same procedures
as if they
are administering
the sacrament
in their own
country. They
have to follow
this procedure:
Go to your
local Parish
Priest - ie
the Parish
Priest where
you live.
He will then
guide you
through the
normal procedures
... provide
instruction
and fill the
prenuptial
forms which
are then sent
by your Church
marriage office
to the Church
marriage office
in Malta.
We will send
you some forms
which you
have to send
back duly
filled providing
the documents
requested.
These documents
have to reach
us at 3 months
- least six
weeks before
the wedding.
We can help
you organise
your wedding
... booking
the bridal
car, arrange
for flowers,
put photographer,
arrange music,
and if you
are travelling
alone ask
someone to
witness your
wedding. Of
course you
might not
need any of
these but
if you do,
do not hesitate
to ask. E-mail

Once you get
to Malta,
the couple
should meet
with the priest,
It would also
be a good
idea to make
arrangements
for a short
rehearsal
which helps
a lot to settle
nerves!
